Marilyn Little is a multifaceted American equestrian whose career is defined by her rare ability to dominate at the highest levels of both show jumping and eventing.
Originally a show jumping prodigy who won grand prix events as a teenager, she made a historic transition to eventing in 2010, ultimately winning both individual and team gold medals at the 2015 Pan American Games.
As of March 2026, she is currently experiencing a career-best season at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, recently securing a string of five-star podium finishes. Highlights of her 2026 circuit include a major speed victory with the young gelding Narado and a second-place finish in the prestigious $500,000 Bainbridge Companies Grand Prix aboard her top mare, La Contessa. Known for her analytical approach and “speed-demon” reputation in the jump-off.
Marilyn continues to be a central figure for the U.S. Jumping Team, proving that her background in the precision of dressage and the bravery of cross-country has only sharpened her competitive edge in the show jumping ring.
